About US The Loudoun ’97 Red was formed in the Summer of 2006 as a travel soccer team representing the Loudoun Soccer Club. The girls are skilled players who are dedicated to soccer and to the friendships they enjoy with one another. The team hopes to make a strong showing in our third year in the Washington Area Girls Soccer league (WAGS) this fall and plans to continue our play with winter sessions at the Dulles Sportsplex. Head Coach – Dave Edwards We are excited to have Dave Edwards (Coach Ted) as our Head Coach! Loudoun Soccer believes in creating a positive, but disciplined and competitive training environment for its travel players. Consistent with this philosophy, Coach Ted has a personal coaching philosophy that promotes technical/tactical development, character growth and competitiveness. Individually and as a team, a positive work ethic and good sportsmanship is held to the highest standards. Team Manager - Robin Phillips The Loudoun ’97 Red is fortunate to have Robin Phillips returning as its team manager. Robin is in her fourth year as the Team Manager for LS97G Red. Robin also serves as the Vice President of Travel for Loudoun Soccer.
